Sport is an important aspect of Squadron life with students
encouragedto participate in as many sporting opportunities as they can.
Students haveaccess to military sports facilities and regular sports
training sessions atthe TA Centre and on the Common in Southampton. The
Air Squadron takes part in friendlytri-service sporting competitions as
well as the annual MEC Sports Cup (which SUASproudly won in 2012/13). In
addition sport is often combined with Charity fundraising.Finally SUAS
also takes part in the Inter-UAS sports competition withtournaments at
RAF Cranwell in a variety of activities.
